Myrsilk females, by their very nature, lean more towards the intellectual side of the spectrum. Titles are given by how well a female manages to complete a set of trials given to her by the elders of the clan, and are usually given for life, or until the female decides to retire. The tests rely heavily on cunning and intelligence, and are geared in such a way that brute strength alone will insure that the female fails. Sometimes, some of the weakest strength-wise have become leaders of their clans, while their stronger sisters might remain as simple Callers or perhaps Commanders. The tests, when they open, are open to all available females.
Appearance-wise, they're a bit leaner than their male counterparts, and their tails are easily about half or more of their bodylength. Their markings, as well their crest, differ from the markings and crest on the males.
One of the things that differentiates males and females are their powers. The females are the summoners, their power residing in the very fact that they can, with only a bit of thought, summon various things depending upon their element(s) and strength. It can be anywhere from a simple 'summoning' of a candle flame, or the calling of an elemental or related creature, or even, with enough strength, a raging inferno. Unlike the males, the females' power rests mostly within their will, as they don't so much have spells, though they can use spells if need be, as they just will something into existance. The markings also differentiates males and females from each other. Following is a chart of the markings found on females.

The female ranking system consists of a mere three ranks, that are only referred to in times of high formality. From highest to lowest, these are:
Gifted
A Myrsilk female with rainbow markings, denoting that she can summon from any of the elements. The element that she'll be the strongest in is her body coloration. For example: A Gifted with a body coloration of blue will be strongest in summoning things involving water (Strength might be 8 for Fire, 9 for everything else, and 10 for Water, though a note should be made that such a strong Myrsilkain is unquestionably rare, with perhaps one in a hundred at best being that strong.)
High
A female with more than one color of marking, but less than the full rainbow, can summon things from two or more of the elements. (But not all) Again, she'll be strongest in the the element that is her body coloration.
Simple
A female with one color on her markings. She can summon from that element alone, and no others.
There are five different titles in total, and great respect is (normally) given to those that hold the highest titles. There will always be the occasional rebel, of course. From highest to lowest, the titles are:
Summoner
The official female leader of the clan, only one of these.
Conjurer
The Summoner's second in command, only one of these as well.
Invoker
Next highest of the titles, there can be anywhere from two to three of these, usually being ordered as First Invoker, Second Invoker, etc.
Commander
Fourth of the titles, with anywhere from two to five Commanders, ordered just like the Invokers are.
Caller
What every other female is, there is no ordering in this title, they're just Callers.
Scholar
Simultaneously lower in rank than a Caller, and higher in prestige than a Summoner, Scholars are often rovers who have dedicated their lives to learning the Memory-Songs of different Clans, so that none may forget the history of the race, and all may know what has occurred elsewhere. Scholar is a gender-neutral title given to males or females that take up this role.
