In a smallish (for Myrsilkain construction) side room on the first floor of the main library tower, a large, lone desk sits before a huge window, the surface covered in various documents and trinkets with barely any desk left visible. There's no chair behind the desk -- not that that's entirely unusual, in this Clan predominated by dragons and other such creatures -- though there are chairs tucked against one wall, ready to be pulled forward if a visitor needs one. The wall opposite the chairs has a large tack board, though there's currently only a single sheet of paper pinned to it. There's even a small table with a bunch of pamphlets stacked on it right next to the door.
A large sunbeam pours in through the huge window set right behind the desk, creating a pool of warmth atop the desk, in which a small creature is curled up in a ball of white and blue fur and pale golden feathers. A pale red earth spirit - yet another of Elyissa's many summons - drifts around the room, slowly sorting the piles of documents into some sort of order, making small humming noises as it works.
Approaching the desk alerts the earth spirit, who sets aside its current stack of documents and rumbles a quiet "Hello," before turning to the creature atop the desk and continuing with, "Espeel, visitor."
A white ear perks up from the curled up creature, and then a powder blue head pops up to give you a once over. The small rukel makes a pleased noise and uncurls in order to give a huge stretch and equally huge yawn, extending her two sets of feathered wings all the way before flipping them closed and settling down on her haunches. "Hello there!" she greets. "Welcome to the Adoption Center!"
The room doesn't exactly look like any sort of 'adoption center'; there's no baskets of heated sand for flitter eggs, no tiny kittens or puppies or anything of the sort. It's just... an office. With a single desk and a tack board on a wall.
Espeel chitters a laugh, tail swishing cheerfully, and says, "We don't adopt pets or companions out of here, but we do keep track of what's available and where to find them! The board to your right has that information on it, and we do our best to keep it up to date. I can also offer advice on what sort of companion you might want to get, if you're undecided. The main collection of books on all the pets and companions that the Myrsilk have found is on the third floor of this tower, but those pamphlets beside the door have care and feeding information for different species, just pick up the ones on the species you're interested in."
A look at the board to the right shows only a single notice on it at the moment:
Venjra wisps are available, come to the side chamber near the main sands.
