Telnaes: Warrior
"Danced with Lord Death yet today?"
Name: | Telnaes Nekuk |
Gender: | Male |
Race: | Morphic Llama |
Size: | 6'3" tall |
Personality: |
Telnaes is a gallant man, treating even the lowest as if they were princes and princesses. It's as if he got all his own grace and skill with words as well as his bond's, considering how graceful and glib he is. He speaks often for Rirah, though he doesn't often tell others that they're talking with Rirah, not Telnaes - it's all an act agreed to and perfected between the two from their life before they reached the Clan. Telnaes has a rather dark, morbid sense of humor that disturbs most people - especially at how easily he jokes about death - and it tends to color everything he says and does. He's a man destined to capture - and break - the hearts of countless women... he just can't understand why he'd want to take one as a mate... |
Description: |
Telnaes is a tall morphic llama with long, shaggy mint green fur that covers his odd hands and feet completely in thick fluff, making it look like he's walking on and holding things with his fur. His chocolate brown eyes are soft and give an appearance of perpetual sorrow, and he has to keep pushing his fur out of his eyes at random moments, and he refuses to trim it. |
History: |
Telnaes and Rirah are mercenary warriors from a time and place where all dragonriders are looked upon as unloyal and untrustworthy. It's no mistake that Rirah has cultivated a clumsy persona - it helped to even the odds against them when they went on missions. After all, who would believe that a clumsy dragon could prove to be one of the most dangerous warriors out there? On top of that, the native breed of dragons - the breed that gave the dragonriders the reputation of unloyal and untrustworthy - were truly worthless on their own, unintelligent and about as stealthy as a charging boar, lusting after battle to the point of turning their bonds into unpredictable warmongers. That fact, too, they used to their advantage at every opportunity. Underneath his fur, Telnaes is crisscrossed with numerous scars, legacy of his mercenary profession, no few of them left by dragon talons. Rirah, too, has his share of scars from fighting other dragons, and his wingsails have more than a few scars crisscrossing them, proof of the deadly tactics used in dragonbattles. Only they know exactly why they decided to leave. It's a decision that they refuse to speak about, leaving many to wonder exactly what happened. |
