Dasabaal: Warrior

Dasa's personality tended to lend weight to the belief that she was too tightly bonded to her dragon to be fully intelligent - she's a reserved, taciturn woman, rarely giving voice to her own thoughts. Telnaes is one of the rare people that she'll talk with, and, because of that, he knows her hidden side. It takes a lot to get Dasabaal down, and even more to remove her sense of good humor.

Dasabaal is a lithe morphic lynx with a thick pelt of golden yellow with indigo markings that makes her hind paws and hands look much larger than they are. Her marroon eyes are often distant and somewhat unfocused, almost like there's no one home in her head. Countless people have mistaken her for a drug user... or a dragonrider with such a tight bond to her dragon that her mind has degenerated to care about only a few, instinctual things: fighting, feeding, and breeding.

Dasa and Cee are mercenary warriors from a time and place where all dragonriders are looked upon as unloyal and untrustworthy. Though it galled Cee to do so, he followed his brother Rirah's example and hid his intelligence from the world, even to the point of staging the occasional mock fight with his brother when there hadn't been a battle for them to fight in a while. Cee and Dasa are just as scarred up as Rirah and Telnaes are, maybe moreso, actually, as Cee was the one that often attacked head on with his bond to keep with their pretense.

As Dasa is less willing to talk than Telnaes is, there's no hope of getting their reasons for leaving out either of them, as Cee honors Dasa's wish to keep silent on the subject.
