Solath, The Shimmering Twilight

Many a visitor has been surprised and disquieted by the sudden appearance of a large feline in Cetirnen's castle, only to realize later that they can never put their finger upon when the feline appeared and when it disappeared. Solath is more social than his compatriot Sycho, it is true, but his loyalty is given to Cetirnen above all. He has claimed it as his duty to examine all visitors who enter the castle, and usually proceeds with this in his serval form.

Not, mind you, that he's ignored his other forms. It's merely that his dragon-form, while good for intimidation or travel, is difficult to navigate through the castle hallways, and his human form lacks the senses that his serval form has. If anything, few people connect the pleasant, talkative man who now walks at Cetirnen's right side with the lithe, pale furred serval and with the dark teal dragon that made an entrance one twilight evening. Solath recognizes this, and plays that for all it's worth, all in the name of loyalty to Cetirnen, Sycho, and the rest.
