Shael is a bright young girl, eternally curious and fascinated by everything around her. If she had her way, she'd spend her life investigating the world and everything about it, though she takes care to not lose herself in her curiosity the way some researchers (especially those over in Clan Akelara!) have a tendency to do -- she has too many people that she cares about to allow herself such a narrow focus! She loves her siblings, and her parents, and many of her agemates in the Clan around her, and will do much to protect those she loves and cares for, even if that means picking up a weapon. She's not interested in fighting the same way her fathers and mother are, but she is more than capable and is very much determined to stay more than capable in order to defend those she cares about when it matters. She has no qualms about standing up for what she believes in, and makes no bones about it whenever she gets into a disagreement. |

Shael was born in the final years of the war with Koshi Keidai, and grew up well aware of the tension and fear that permeated the Clan during those dark days. She learned to defend herself from an early age, just like all the rest of her agemates, though she has already told her parents that she won't follow them into the Clan Guard. |
