Clan Vecira

A remnant of the Vella Crean

The fifteen eldest members of this mini-Clan within Clan Akelara are all natives of the Vella Crean, born in the massive "Final Clutch" before the Vella Crean vanished from the map of the Nexiian Universes. They were brought back to Clan Akelara by Blackstar, Taxuhael, Soresichia, and Dendou, and took to Clan life well enough.

But they felt... different. They were the only Courts there, and knew in their hearts that they were not to be followed by many others.... After all, the Vella Crean was gone, taking their birth-home with it, leaving them with only themselves to rely upon.

Perhaps it was that strange unity of purpose that made the three Courts work together so well. The two Premiere Queens, Darasath and Renoth, despite being Light and Dark Court respectively, work together as a (relatively) smooth team, forming the head of their new Clan. Vecira, they called it, after the Narisho word "Veciraina", which means "Hope Beyond the End".

The Clan has taken up residence in a cliff-and-cave system to the North-west of Clan Akelara, above the great freshwater lake that Aloshian has claimed for the water-dragons of the people. They've enlisted the assistance of Viaran, a miner daemon, to help them carve comfortably sized dens for them and their kin.

Recently they've been joined by six others, children of their members, in most cases. These six have been incorporated smoothly into their Clan. They've also begun to accept a few others dragons, mostly pure-bred old world style, or mutts with Vella Crean blood in them. The Clan core, though, will always be the fifteen Last Clutch-ers (not that they lord it over anyone... in fact, most of the members give the fifteen more respect than they expect out of their Clan members).
