Zhu Huifeng

Huifeng is quiet and withdrawn, often keeping to himself and speaking only sparingly to anyone who addresses him. He really doesn't enjoy interacting with others, and will extricate himself from situations as soon as politely possible.

His only real exceptions to this are his Lord, the three people his Lord favors the most, his mercenary friend Ricca, and now his bonds Blackflame and Retsu Nioi. Even then, he does tend to stay quiet, but he won't avoid them like he will strangers.

His pale skin and red eyes make him stand out amongst those he grew up with, made worse by the way he tends to wear black and other dark colors all the time. His life as a land-bound mercenary means he no longer looks much like the sailor he grew up as.

He spent his first few years ashore, raised by his mother and meeting his father only occasionally. When he reached ten years of age, his father began to bring him aboard his pirate ship for short voyages that began to grow longer as he got older, though he never truly enjoyed the enclosed spaces and often-rowdy crew that were part of his father's pirates. The minute he had an opportunity, he ran away to become a mercenary where he made a name for himself as a skilled fighter who worked alone.
