A Year in Ja'amus

The following chart lists important dates throughout the year. Equinox and Solstice dates are approximates only, as they tend to sway a day or two to either side. Every fifth year, Aurinta gains an extra day, marked as (30) on the calendar given here.

The days of the week are: Talyi; Narrosyi; Joryi; Benyi; Amuryi; Firasyi; Chirryi.

Talyi is considered a 'day of rest', and is given over to family and worship of the Mother Goddess Rajatos, She Who Is All.

Narrosyi is the sacred day of the Goddess Ilmea, Lady of Air.

Joryi is the sacred day of the God Vestar, Lord of Water.

Benyi is the sacred day of the Goddess Avisas, Lady of Shadow.

Amuryi is the sacred day of the God Kolosen, Lord of Earth.

Firasyi is the sacred day of the Goddess Laukas, Lady of Fire.

Chirryi is the sacred day of the God Halut, Lord of Light.
