Midnight Orian

Orian is a very quiet dragon, given to the shadows as much as Eredal ever is. He's the 'hulking shadow' looming behind the small Shadow Mage, the gentle paw that silently protects those that need it, the dangerous creature that stands between Eredal and any who wish the man harm. Orian has agreed to take a Nightwatch shift, for the sake of his bond, and because the night is his time.

He's not a warrior born, though, but rather a thinker, a dragon who enjoys the mental pursuits more than the physical. Eredal has accused Orian of over-thinking everything, and that does tend to be true, though he's not adverse to acting when he believes the situation demands it. Orian likes to think back on things that have occured, searching for lessons and ways that a situation could have been handled differently, so that he can meet future problems better informed.
