Ember is a lighthearted being, always with a smile on his face or a soft laugh on his tongue, no matter what the situation, as if the entire world is a joke that only he knows the meaning of. His constant amusement can be annoying to some, especially when the situation is serious, and the time for amused smiles and soft laughter is definitely not then. But don't let his frivolious side fool you, he has a hidden side that few ever get to see, a side that is completely opposite his normal manner - serious, down to earth, and rather... sad.

It's unknown where he came from, or why he decided to join Selta Iyurri's pride of Alevaharins. He simply appeared one day - a bright eyed young adult with a faint shadow in his voice - while they were crossing the edge of a desert, and requested that he be allowed to accompany them. It took some time, but Iyurri eventually relented and allowed him to accompany them away from the desert. Now, having accompanied them for years - long enough for him to become a full adult able to hide his serious, rather solemn and sad side from the world - he has become fully accepted into the clan, and is often the envoy to different races, simply because of his ability to shapeshift and his warm, friendly attitude.
