Erato: Poet, Prophet, Muse

Erato is a cheerful, expressive young (looking) woman who enjoys the creative arts of any sort, though her favorite is (obviously) poetry. She enjoys her ability to inspire others around her to the creative pursuits, and is often found in the company of Yalde'rer, the Songmistress of the Clan. When she isn't, she's often composing musical pieces or poetry of her own.

She's not as shallow as that may seem, though. Erato can be the shoulder to cry on, the support when others are weak, the confidence to keep moving forward despite the opposition. Indeed, it's often Erato's subtle manipulations that keep the general feeling of the Clan, if not cheerful, then at least hopeful that the current troubles will be bested with a minimum of loss.

Erato is a tall, slender woman, with shining blue-green eyes and brilliant sun gold hair. Her skin is fair, unblemished, and rarely burns, as befits a Muse of her stature. Erato will usually let her hair remain unbound and falling to her hips in a cascade of brilliant golden waves.

Her clothes vary on a daily basis, having little in common with one another except for the fact that they're all light, airy, and serve to make her look more ethereal than she is. She will never wear weapons, though sometimes she'll accept the necessity of the matter and will wear clothes of a more rugged nature.

No one knows where she came from - she merely appeared one day during one of Yalde'rer's performances, the dragoness Vagdevi at her side, and never left again.
