Aserat

Aserat likes to "fly a steady course", so to speak. If he knows something is good, and works, and has always worked, he'll keep doing it until forced to acknowledge that, maybe, just maybe, that method is no longer the best. It's not that he's hidebound, per se, so much that he honestly can't see why something should just suddenly stop being the best way to do it. Aserat always takes the long view of things (which contributes to his consistancy), and often finds himself taken aback by the (in his mind) short-sighted and flitter-flutter opinions of others around him.

Aserat, in his own way, is an impulsive perfectionist. Every movement must be perfect, every wing-beat expending nothing more than necessary, every word must be the best for the situation. He can spend days in the "niceties of polite society", touching on the subject at hand but never actually broaching it properly (a habit that drives many, including his bond at times, crazy). Aserat considers questions to be impolite, and will never ask them, and will often ignore questions directed at him unless he feels the topic warrants such "rude directness."
