::General:: His name means northern shadow, and for the most part it suits. The northern bit, anyways. Boreal is cool and reserved, definitely the sort to keep to himself. He's wary about crowds, and about strangers in general, and being in proximity with too many other beings makes him nervous. Even around people he's comfortable with, he's pretty cold and reserved, though notably more prone to staying and being comfortable in body-language. He's constantly alert, and has a suspicious, distrustful air to him, tinged with haughtiness. He's undeniably a vain creature-- that much you can tell by looking at him, and a good way to break the ice (in so much as it can be broken, which isn't much) is to compliment his appearance. He's fond of only one sort of attention, and that's attention of a romantic sort, and even that gets old after awhile.
He's a wanderer by nature, staying in one place too long makes him uneasy. A lot of things make him uneasy, actually. He also is particularly unfond of warm things and places, go figure-- they make him edgy and restless.
Edgy and restless Boreal is not a pleasant boreal-- he snaps and bites at things, getting downright nasty. Thankfully, he only gets like this when he feels constricted or caged-- i.e, is being forced to stay in one place against his will. Otherwise he's.. civil, if naturally icy in demeanor.
