::General:: Barakuja looks sweet and gentle, but don't let appearances fool you. While she can be both sweet and gentle, if she chooses, they are not her default ways of acting-- on the contrary, to see her acting this way genuinely is almost un-heard of, and to see her pretending to act this way is more common, and more dangerous. She's a deceptive being, seemingly worlds apart from 'normal people'. She has an air of mysticism to her that makes her seem dangerous, and alluring. She either plays up to this, overplaying her natural dignity and elegance, or she acts more like herself-- sardonic and cold. The only person who gets any sort of warmth is Sneprin from her, and even he gets her sarcasm most of the time. While she, like her mate, has a sharp sense of humour, hers is distinctly more sadistic, and harder to play towards. She offers no help at all. She can be cruel, and she's always hard to please.

Sneprin yawned, muttering to himself as he shifted himself slightly to the left, in order to stay in the sun. The mountains in which he lived with his mate were freezing, particularly at this time of year, and while Barakuja might like that sort of thing, he certainly didn't. It was all he could do to stay warm, laying on sun-heated rocks in the middle of the day.

Barakuja herself was always a bit of a mystery. She went off durring the day, and where exactly she went was unknown to him. This was a fact he found frustrating, but he couldn't do a thing about it-- women and cats would do as they wish, and Barakuja was (or, at least, resembled) both of those things. Today was strange, however-- the dual-tailed feline whorling was nowhere to be found, despite the fact that it was well past the time she'd normally return from wherever it was she went. Sneprin found himself getting mildly worried, despite himself-- she could take care of herself, he knew, but what if something stronger than her had hurt her? He'd investigate if she didn't come home by nightfall.

Barakuja was fine, however-- more than fine, in fact. She came back running-- quite unlike her, for she was a creature of calm dignity, who rarely ran-- an hour before twilight, a look of enthusiastic excitement painted on her face. Sneprin tilted an ear at her, regarding her curiously out of his two sets of eyes. "What's got your tails all wound up?"

"I." she said, puffing her chest up and looking at him with great importance. "Have been looking at dragons."

Sneprin nodded, putting an ear forward. What was this about dragons? "I take it they haven't eaten you?"

"Of course they did, I'm projecting myself as a hologram from inside one of their stomachs." she said sarcastically, before waving it off. "But I did find out something that would interest you."

"Tell me, oh beautiful hologram." Sneprin replied, stepping off his rock-- the sun was going down, and it was getting cold anyway. "And I will be forever grateful."

"There is a hybrid clutch at the Citadel of Shadows," Barakuja replied, hitting his foot with a tail lightly as he sidled up next to her, "that might interest you. One of them involves some xenohydra blood, and there's a second that I'm interested, but I'm sure the Xeno-mutts catch your eye more..?"

Sneprin smiled widely-- a truely unnerving talent, as his smile was usually longer than it should've been. "Barakuja, my love, you know me too well. When can we leave?"

"Tomarrow." Barakuja replied, with a wicked smile.
