Shoma'revisii ~~Gen~~ ::Name:: The Orange Boy ::Gender:: Male ::Rank:: // ::Species:: Anthropomorphic Canine, specifics unknown ::Age:: Unknown, appears to be in early teens, but doesn't age. ::Job:: // ::Location:: Mindspace ~~Appearance~~ ::Height:: 5'1" ::Eyes:: Creamy Yellow-orange ::Fur/Scales/Feathers/Skin:: White, with a creamy pale-orange underbelly and tips of his arms and legs, and deep orange markings over his eyes (Eyebrows), the tip of his ears, the bottom of his tail, and parallel rings on his upper thighs and arms. ::Hair:: A little higher than shoulder length, strait, worn back in a ponytail. Creamy orange. ::Other:: ~~Skills~~ ::Magic:: Summon Creatures, Dire-use Magic, moderate healing ::Physical:: ::Mental:: ::Explanation:: Dire-use magic is a sort of defense mechanism. When he's seriously threatened, he can call up magic reserves that he wouldn't normally be able to call upon, to protect him and sometimes others. The effects of this are random, and usually rather devastating. He has no control over this ability. ~~Personality~~ ::Mental Disorders:: ::General:: The Orange Boy is not named for anything in particular-- most people assume it's his colour, but it's not. Something about him, his being and personality, just remind people of Orange. He does have a real name, but no one remembers it, not even himself. He's not particularly mystical, and the only thing mysterious about him is his past, which he doesn't remember and which doesn't particularly effect his present. If anything, he's kind of meek. Quiet and shy, he tends to keep to himself, making only a few friends, and those friends are usually the same sorts of people-- gentle, sometimes slightly outgoing, but the sort that aren't about to go causing a lot of trouble. He likes quiet things, pretty things, and friendly people, and enjoys calm music. He shies away from loudness and chaos, even festivals and hatchings he's wary of-- he'd only attend a hatching to bond or sponsor, and even then he'd stay as far as possible from most of the people and activity. To his friends he's fairly gentle and sweet, though he can, notably, be over-dependant and clingy. His favorite method of communication is a wordless sort of telepathy, though he can communicate in words. He does not have telepathy of his own, however, so if he uses this skill, it's only with a creature that has telepathy on it's own. ~~History~~ ::Former Location:: ~~Connections~~ ::Mate:: Vincent [(c) Tiogerai] ::Family:: ::Offspring:: ??, Daughter ::Bondeds:: Shoma'revisii, Orange F Pheonix/sira mutt; ::Pets:: ::Sponsering:: ♣Without Cyborware Image♣Hatchling Image♣ ::Name:: Shoma'revisii [meaning "orange girl"] ::Gender:: Female ::Species:: Non-dragon Mutt- Pheonix/Sira [dragon breeding compatible] ::Rank:: // ::Colour:: Orange ~~Appearance~~ ::Size:: 3'4" at shoulder [kitten size- 1'0" at shoulder] ::Eyes:: Orange ::Fur/Scales/Feathers/Skin:: A bright, light shade of orang, with an orangey-brown ridge of fur down her back. ::Build:: Light, Angular ::Other:: ~~Skills~~ ::Magic:: Shapeshifting (human) ::Physical:: Fire Immunity, Verbal Speech ::Mental:: Telepathy ~~Personality~~ ::General:: ((Written by Phoenix)) Although she's a little faint of heart, shying away from scary creatures and situations, Shoma'revisii is a pleasant little girl. She loves sunny days and fuzzy animals and her favorite color is--no, not orange--"rainbow". She never seems to have a bad thought for anyone she meets, except if she's scared of them, and her gentle nature makes her easy to get along with. ((Added by me)) As one would expect from her, she's incredibly fond of animals and small toys, even to the point where she used her cyborware tokens to purchase not modifications, but two plushies she considers very dear to her. They're of her favorite animals-- one's a cat, and one's a dog. They're usually found in her pouch, and almost never on her person-- she gets quite agitated when she can't find them. ~~History~~ ::Origins:: Abstract Destiny ::Hatching Message:: ((Written by Phoenix)) A rich orange female settled by one of the candidates with a happy giggle. "I think Grandpa knew I'd like you," she grinned, looking up at the canine anthropomorph only known as the Orange Boy, "because my name is Shoma'revisii and do you know what that means in my daddy's language?" The Orange Boy grinned back at her, thinking he could guess, but playing along. "What?" "'Orange Girl'!" laughed the kitten ~~Connections~~ ::Mate:: ::Pedigree:: Haaji'hashmel (Albino M Sira Shifter, Father) x Chiami (Standard F Pheonix, Mother)

1: Cold
= >: Kimadrid was not comfortable. In fact, he was anything but comfortable. It was winter in the Black Sheep Weyr, and winter was the worst season of his life. Being a Tesuarian, he was a desert creature, and he did not cope well with the extremely cold winters the Black Sheep Weyr usually experienced. The cold made him suffer. He'd attempted to remedy this by finding warm places to burrow into. His bed was warm, but it took awhile to get that way, and he didn't like that. The numerous hearths around the weyr were warm too, but every time someone opened a door, waves of cold air assaulted him. The weyr's hotsprings were warm as well, but they left his fur sopping wet, and that just made him colder in the long-run, since his fur, thin as it was, took time to dry. All of this brought him to his current remedy: burrowing into the sands of the BSW's hatching caverns. This was not particularly comfortable. Sand was everywhere, and laying in it made him feel oddly claustraphobic. It got in his ears, in his fur, in his pants-- everywhere he /didn't/ want it. Tesarians were built for desert living, yes, but that didn't mean they were meant to go around burrowing in sand-- just walk and occasionally lay on it. Laying /in/ it was almost as bad as being cold was. Evidently, some of his discomfort registered on his face, for the Orange Boy could not stop laughing when he came upon the sight of the mostly-burried kimadrid, glowering out at him from his caccoon of sand. Kimadrid glowered more when the laughter showed no signs of ending, and by the time the Orange Boy was done, he felt about ready to strangle the poor creature, and probably would've had he not loathed leaving the sands. "Are you an egg now?" the Orange Boy asked, raising his eyebrows at the sand-covered Tesuarian. "Will you hatch soon?" Kimmy glowered, puffing his fur out as much as he could. "No! It's just cold." he said, in a tone that suggested he was pouting. The Orange Boy took on a sympathetic expression, through his remaining smile. "Oh, poor you. You're a Tesuarian, right? A desert creature?" Kimmy nodded, still puffed. "Well, would you like to come with me, then?" The Orange Boy asked, tilting his head at the Tesuarian. This confused Kimadrid, and he tilted his head. "Where are you going, now?" This intrigued Kimadrid, and he stared up at the Orange Boy for a long
moment. "Is there enough time to take a bath first? And to oil my flitters." Orange Boy nodded, grinning. "I'll sign you up, then, while you take one. C'mon." and with that, he set to helping dig the other male out. 2: Hatching 3: Bringing Shoma Home A few steps into the weyrbowl, and the pheonix/sira kitten nestled in the Orange Boy's arms raised her head, staring curiously at her surroundings through her large orange eyes. "Wow." she cheeped, awestruck-- she'd never been anywhere so big before in her life. The Orange Boy laughed in response, feeling her awe over their newly formed bond. "It's bigger than it looks, too." he told her, making a beeline for the main living caverns in the weyr. It would be warmer there, and there would be plenty of food for both beings-- he was getting hungry, and he could feel an edge of hunger over the bond, as well. Shoma'revisii, the kitten, was silent for a second as she absorbed this, her eyes growing, if possible, wider in amazement. "I want to see it all!" she replied finally, as Orange Boy carried her into warmth of the inner caverns. "All right," said the Orange Boy, happily, "I'll go with you! But let's eat and maybe nap first. And I want you to meet Vincent, too." Shoma'revisii's reply was to nestle further into Orange Boy's arms, purring in contentment. She loved meeting new people. |
